Nest Ortaköy

Nest Ortaköy is a boutique residential complex in Istanbul, Turkey, with 74 suites making up five-floor blocks. The prominent architectural features are the large glass windows that frame stunning views of the Bosphorus Strait for its residents. In heating each apartment, the solution had to reduce heat loss through the glass facade without interfering with the vista on display.
The Jaga Mini Canal trench heater provided the perfect solution. 148 pieces of Mini Canal were installed in front of each window in subtle floor trenches. Each unit was finished with a stylish grille to complement the residents’ aesthetic preferences, ranging from anodized aluminum to a wood oak finish.
The trench heater is equipped with Jaga’s Low-H _{2 0 heat exchanger, using a low-water content to make it ultra-responsive to temperature adjustments. Each versatile unit features an output of between 152 and 4,184 Watts depending on installation depth and the size of each unit, and its can be customized with special corners to fit seamlessly with the perimeter of its chosen location.}
