An apple a day...
two heads are better than one
Jaga is firmly opting for the future! We actively engage in collaborations with schools and educational institutions to work, together with young people, towards a more sustainable world!
A win-win-win for company, school & student!
At Jaga, we use GoodHabitz, an online learning platform, to foster continuous growth. It offers engaging courses that empower our team to learn, develop new skills, and grow both professionally and personally, supporting a culture of lifelong learning.
One drop at a time
Process water is no longer discharged but collected by a certified treatment facility. (for ex. In 2023, 431 m³ of process water has been externally treated)
Renewable energy sources
Through investments in renewable energy, the output of our solar farm has increased from 580 to 1580 kW in 2024 and meet most of our energy needs.
Communication & Training, in-house & external
In 2006, Jaga built the Experience Lab, where visitors of all kinds could explore and experience the power of Jaga technology for themselves. With the opening of our Coollab in 2021, we provided even more of an experience, this time focusing on cooling. At that venue, we welcomed as many as 1,500 HVAC professionals, architects, engineers and students to share our story and related ecological climate solutions with. That number is set to rise substantially as we have opened our new Net Zero showroom in early 2024.
Process optimisations & production efficiency
Jaga continuously invests in its machinery. Efficiency, speed and precision all serve to make our units even more economical.
Scientific research
Jaga is currently surveying the environmental impact of its products.
ISO14040 is the international standard for calculating LCAs (life cycle analysis) of products.
European standard EN15804+A2 is taking this the next level and is defining the design of EPDs in the construction industry. (Environmental Product Declaration)
Jaga has now incorporated the certified EPD environmental declarations according to this European standard into the Dutch national environmental database for the Strada and Strada Hybrid products.

Less haulage, more local production
Jaga reduces its carbon footprint.
We are moving the production of our Czech subsidiary back to Diepenbeek.
This equals a substantial reduction in our haulage kilometres, saving 440 kg of CO2 emissions each year.
Value economy
Jaga Climate Designers live by five core values.
The mission and vision within those values are synonymous with sustainable development
Sustainable mobility
In 2023, Jaga doubled the number of charging stations to meet the needs of the ever-growing electric vehicle fleet.
From 2025 onwards, the only vehicles added to the fleet will be 100% electric cars.
Cultural & social added value
Jaga is not merely pursuing profit, but wants to create a cultural and social added value with projects such as Uchronia, Vikimania,
Jonas & the fish.
Buy green
Our organisation has developed a purchasing policy of which sustainability is an integral part.
Scopes
We aim to map our CO2 footprint to clearly identify areas where improvements can be made and take targeted actions to reduce our emissions. We will also map our Scope 3 emissions, which, together with Scope 1 and 2, will provide a complete overview of Jaga’s footprint, allowing us to identify areas for improvement.
Know who you’re dealing with!
In our quest for a sustainable future, it is vital that we team up with partners who share our values. Therefore, we conducted an in-depth analysis of all our stakeholders.
