This building in Cologne-Seeberg was converted into a day-care center and designed to give it a bright and attractive appearance so that children would find it welcoming. The interior was also completed converted, to make it a comfortable and safe place for parents and caregivers to leave their children. As part of the conversion project, the developers sought a superior heating system that would provide the required heat levels but at far lower costs, to the environment and the day-care center’s budget.
They found what they were looking for in Jaga’s Low-H2O technology, which uses 90% less water than ordinary radiators and emits 10% fewer carbon emissions - and are 15% cheaper to run.
Two types of Jaga heating systems were selected – the Tempo and Vertiga radiators that are now in big demand in all kinds of commercial spaces. Tempo radiators were chosen because of their classic design and "safe to touch" advantage - particularly important with a lot of young children around them - while the Vertiga won because of its low-water temperature that means it can be used with heat pumps and modulating condensing boilers.
