Towering 160m above Warsaw’s city centre is the striking Cosmopolitan Twarda 2/4 residential skyscraper. Completed in June 2013, this 44-storey building features 236 coveted apartments as well as commercial space on the lower decks. A 4th storey ‘relaxation zone’ provides residents with a fully equipped gym and terrace, offering spectacular panoramic views of the Polish Capital including the Palace of Culture and Saski Park.
Subtle in style yet emphatic in output, Jaga Mini Canal trench heaters were chosen to ensure comfortable heat levels and were therefore retained throughout the apartments and relaxation zone. The Cosmopolitan’s steeped glass facades presented the challenge of heat loss which the Mini Canal rectified with ease. Built-in Low-H20 technology, a super conductive and ultra fast heat exchanger that saves on energy costs and emits 10-15% less carbon dioxide than standard steel panel radiators. The standard 9cm trench depth was not compatible with the Cosmopolitan’s structure, so custom made 8,5cm units were happily provided by Jaga upon request.
