Jaga, based in Diepenbeek, Limburg, is a manufacturer and supplier of high-quality, energy-efficient heating and cooling systems. Our products contribute to a better and healthier indoor climate, as demonstrated in the renovation of the Ethias headquarters in Hasselt.
This iconic building, originally constructed in 1984 and expanded in 2001, was recently fully renovated. The project was carried out in collaboration with a construction team that included the architectural firm Jaspers-Eyers, also involved in the original construction, and the engineering firm Enerdo from Lummen, responsible for dynamic simulations and technical studies. Installation company Mourik Technics implemented the latest technologies to make the renovation a success.
For this project, Jaga systems were chosen for their performance and sustainability:
- Static convectors were installed on the ground floor to counteract cold drafts near the large glass facades.
- Fan coil units were placed in the atrium and under the dome to provide cooling and shield the office spaces from the atrium's heat.
This renovation highlights the power of collaboration and innovation, resulting in a sustainable and comfortable indoor climate that meets the highest standards.
